Dr. Joe Arminio for Congress
I voted for Joseph Arminio for Congress. He is one of the few candidates actively addressing the federal deficit, taking a page out of Alexander Hamilton's playbook by proposing a national bank. His populist strategies offer a practical path toward meaningful progress. Utilizing populism in Delaware is a smart approach to engaging voters for the common good.
During a recent forum sponsored by the Jewish Federation of Delaware, Dr. Arminio missed an opportunity to clearly explain his stance on gender identity when asked about McBride, choosing instead to refer to her as "he." Although McBride invited him to elaborate on his reasoning, Katz took over the stage and condemned him. Had Dr. Arminio explained that his perspective stems from traditional Judeo-Christian values, it would have framed the exchange as a difference of viewpoints rather than drawing accusations of lacking "civility, basic decency, and mutual respect." By resorting to a shortcut, Dr. Arminio faced immediate judgment. Ultimately, he is resisting the prevailing progressive narrative in favor of the traditional values shared by many Delawareans.
I subscribe to a traditional worldview grounded in biblical principles. A significant portion of Delaware's population aligns with Evangelical, Mainline Protestant, Black Protestant, Catholic, and Jewish faith traditions.
These faith communities emphasize key moral principles, such as:
Compassion and the Good Samaritan principle
The sanctity of family and community
Moral integrity and the greatest commandment
These shared principles have inspired faith-based volunteer initiatives across the First State.
Dr. Joe is not the typical Dover Republican I have encountered since moving to Delaware in 2022. As an MIT professor, he brings an independent perspective, and I believe he deserves serious consideration. He is offering concrete ideas to address the national debt rather than overlooking Social Security and the future of my 17 grandchildren.
